Tribute to H.R. Giger
My little tribute to one of my favourite artists H.R. Giger. Always loved this artwork of his so thought I would try and recreate it in 3 D using Nomad Sculpt on the iPad of all things. It was a bit of a challenge as the sculpting tools are limited compared to those you get in something like Zbrush, but it is way more powerful than you might think.
Starting initial blockout and wondering if this is going to be possible on the iPad.
Starting to look a bit more promising but still a long way to go.
I think at this point I began to realise this was going to be a big project but was feeling optimistic
This was the point where it really started to take shape. This is where I began merging some of the elements together to begin adding sculpting details
